Search Directories & Lists – There are many directories and lists of manufacturers that have 5000’s and 10’s of 5000’s of clothing and garment manufacturers listed there. This is a way to find manufacturers, other than it can be extremely time consuming to sort through and get in touch with all of them in order to start the weeding out process.
Many manufacturers will only work in high volumes, so even if you are able to get someone to respond to your query, from time to time it’s to let you know that in order to serve you they would require you to order much higher quantities.
View Garment Samples – Most clothes manufacturers will include pictures of the types of products they have fashioned in the past. Possibly they can produce children’s clothes, women clothing, t-shirts, bags, coats, dresses and other items. If you need a specific type of clothing, finding a manufacturer that already has proven them in that area might save you time and hassle.
Get Several Quotes Before You Commit – Confirm you compare quotes of at least 3 dissimilar garment companies before you make a decision on who to work with. Confirm each company you think explains to you their routine for starting work on a new product. What are their prices for the first samples? If you are looking online, confirm you have all of their contact information so that you have a few dissimilar ways to get in touch with them if you need anything.
